Energy Yoga
Energy yoga is based on the ancient yoga of Dahn.
This tradition began in the general area of what is now known as the Tibet/Nepal/China borders.

This form of yoga focuses on many aspects of the human experience, moving energy through your natural meridian system in order to heal the physical body, enhancing the chakra system for increased strength and clarity, developing a deeper sense of self with love and acceptance, and through that a connection to all other earth humans and all living things within our universe.
We start our classes by igniting and strengthening our second chakra, allowing us to help create strength in our lower abdomen, increasing vitality digestively and boosting our immune system. From there we open all our energy meridians by stretching and moving our joints where blockages can occur.
We use breath work to kindle the energy and move it more thoroughly. We do postures to build strength. At the end of class we learn to feel our own energy, and by doing so, quieting the mind. We end all our classes with a tea meditation and sharing.
